I am Andrea and together with my wife Michela I open the doors of our small but cosy Bed and Breakfast Prima dell’ Elba to you.
I would like to share with you the choice of the name ‘Prima dell’Elba’.
There are two reasons that led us to this name: one because we are located as the crow flies on the path leading to the embarkations for Elba, and the other as a careful choice for the visitor who decides to discover Piombino rather than the more famous island located in front of our promontory.

The ritual of breakfast is the first pleasant part of every traveller’s day, and we know this well. We will provide you with everything you need in your room to enjoy a nice, tasty breakfast to get your day off to a good start, in relaxation and without time constraints. The model offered is typically Mediterranean: milk, coffee, tea, fruit juices of various flavours, yoghurt, in the summer months fresh local seasonal fruit, honey from local beekeepers, and various types of biscuits and jams. All the products used are strictly and exclusively first choice. A fridge, microwave and coffee machine are also available. If you have any particular food intolerances, please let us know at the time of booking, so that we can ensure a good breakfast.

The Bed and Breakfast Prima dell’Elba is a stone’s throw from the best restaurants in the historic centre of Piombino, so you can choose the one you like best. There are excellent restaurants, famous for cooking fish and meat divinely, among the best in all of Tuscany, as well as pizzerias, to suit all budgets. Obviously, if you ask us for some advice, we will try to direct you in the best way possible, according to your needs. For example, there are restaurants that will allow you to enjoy typical Tuscan dishes a few metres from the sea and in a romantic and refined setting, or pizzerias/restaurants that will surprise you with the ratio of their quality to price. You can also eat a pizza right on the beach, at the end of a day of sea and sun, or enjoy a boiled octopus granfia served in a typical kiosk. Often the fateful question emerges: “where shall we go for dinner?”. We will help you!
